Responsibilities

Create and revise detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
Collaborate closely with engineers on the design of power products.
Support additional design and documentation tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

At least three years of industry experience in 3D modeling in a drafting capacity for manufacturing shops.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience will also be considered.
Experience in automated industrial equipment or metal enclosures drafting or design.
Ability to create or edit parts and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience drafting for power products such as low voltage switchboards, switchgears, UPSs, and static switches.
Certified Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting.
Initially, work hours are from 8am-5pm for the first couple of weeks.
A mutual start time will be agreed upon with the supervisor, likely between 6am-8:30am.
Lunch is one hour.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $48.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
