Responsibilities
- Completes mechanical assembly of TMS products, basic wiring and panel layout.
- Performs maintenance tasks, performs integration and repairs, following both written and verbal instructions.
- Works with mechanical tools and electrical test equipment, such as meters, shakers and test chambers.
- Generates and updates as-built documentation.
- Ensures compliance with and supports continuous improvement of the MSQS system.
- Supports The Modal Shop’s goal of Total Customer Satisfaction by performing the following job duties in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Performing mechanical and electrical assembly and testing of components for TMS products.
- Completes builds and testing by following established written procedures; writes legibly, signs and dates router when steps are completed.
- Ensuring all products meet established test and/or calibration specifications and notifies the Team Leader when they do not.
- Understanding and using proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD procedure.
- Observing all safety precautions per department guidelines when operating test equipment, and following all safety rules and keeping area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One to three years experience in mechanical assembly and testing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates in MET or equivalent preferred. Sound and vibration equipment assembly experience preferred. Soldering experience preferred.

Physical Demands
- Continuous work in an indoor production environment with moderate to loud noise level.
