Mechanical Assembler

About the role

Brenton, a division of Pro Mach, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly of Orion products. This position is based in Alexandria, MN and works the first shift.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand assembly drawings
• Adhere to customer specifications
• Assist in testing and final adjustments of the machine
• Fit and align all components on a machine
• Follow and adhere to Brenton/Orion quality and assembly standards
• Must be forklift certified
• Mechanical installation tasks include:
• Lube lines
• Cams
• Align and adjust gearboxes and drive lines
• Motors, chain, sprockets, etc.
• Assist customer personnel in the installation, start-up, and training of Orion machines and systems

Requirements

• 2-year technical college degree with 2-4 years of Mechanical Assembly experience preferred
• Excellent Mechanical / Electrical capability or capacity to learn
• Solid mechanical problem-solving skills
• Potential to be a motivator / leader
• Professional communication, attitude, and image

Qualifications

• Educator - good verbal and written presentation, organized, good planner, good interpersonal skills

Pay

Base Hourly Range: $20.00-$29.00
