Mechanical Assembler

About the role

This is a full-time and permanent position at a local facility focused on metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Installing perforated sheet metal, panels, doors, and roofing
• Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Operating industrial paint systems and blasting equipment
• Reading and interpreting drawings for each task
• Keeping work station clean and organized

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in similar fields or other related fields
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects by hand or with equipment
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work overtime if needed

Qualifications

• Read tape measure
• Use of power tools and other equipment

Skills

• Safe handling of heavy objects
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Operational proficiency with industrial equipment

Pay

Pay is $20-$24 per hour based on experience and an interview.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: Working 8 - 10 hours per day
• Saturdays: Some Saturdays
• Overtime Available: Weekly Pay!
