Mechanical Assembler - 3rd Shift

About the Role

Seeking a Mechanical Assembler for third shift, responsible for meeting production goals, operating equipment, and performing inspections to ensure quality standards. The role involves studying instructions, following blueprint specifications, applying conformal coatings, and preparing PCBs according to work instructions. Collaboration with Quality and Engineering teams is essential to maintain efficient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Operate and maintain conformal coating and curing equipment.
• Perform inspections and rework to meet IPC standards.
• Prepare PCBs for coating, apply coatings, and ensure coverage quality.
• Follow safety protocols, SOPs, and documentation procedures.
• Support process improvements and communicate effectively with shifts.
• Perform all tasks requiring manual dexterity, detailed work, and microscope use.

Requirements

• Typically, one year or less of experience.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards and electronics manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with ESD procedures is a plus.
