Mechanical Assembler - 3rd Shift

About the role

3rd Shift Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling, inspecting, and coating PCBs using various equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Meet production goals and communicate shift issues to leadership.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure standards and goals are achieved.
• Follow blueprints, instructions, and SOPs to prepare and assemble components.
• Perform inspections to meet IPC standards and conduct rework as needed.
• Operate and maintain conformal coating and curing equipment, masking, and cleaning processes.
• Prepare PCBs for coating, apply conformal coatings, and inspect for coverage and defects.
• Ensure safety, proper handling of materials, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• Typically 1+ years of experience or less, with meticulous manual dexterity.
• Ability to work under a microscope, multitask, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards, electronics manufacturing, or PCB assembly is preferred.
• Understanding of ESD procedures is a plus.
