Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up equipment per manufacturer and customer specifications.
- Install necessary parts, check fluid levels, test and assure proper operation.
- Operate and test equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Safely and effectively use all service and repair tools: hoist, welder, test equipment, pressure washer, compressors, power tools etc.
- Safely operate a forklift.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of shop area.
- Effectively work within a team to meet customer needs.
Education and/or Experience
- Technical degree (2yr.) or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in diagnosing problems with gas and diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office
- Parts based lookup tools
- Diagnostics Software
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
Other Requirements
- Strong customer service/communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage range: $28 - $35 per hour, based upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.
- Benefit Program: 401(k), medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, PTO and holiday pay.
