Mechanic Technician #JR-00214

Job Duties

• Maintain and perform basic repairs on a variety of vehicles and machinery utilized by P&R/Park & Landscape Services;
• Perform road services calls and work on equipment from small engine equipment to farm tractor-type equipment;
• Perform minor repairs on vehicles and trailers;
• Perform maintenance and repair on 0-turn mowers, tractor mowers, flail mowers, pickups, trailers, and other grounds equipment;
• Perform tire repairs;
• Maintain necessary records and reports of repairs and servicing;
• Does related work as required.

Requirements

• Class A Commercial Driver's License, or obtain within six (6) months of hire;
• Eligible for the City of Virginia Beach’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse verification program.
