Mechanic's Helper

About the role

This position ensures that the image of our company is reflected in the appearance and condition of our equipment and facilities. You are to maintain the company’s high standards of safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Assist mechanics with repairs.
• Follow procedures to fuel and park CDL required vehicles. Drive, fuel, and park on company property only.
• Repair and/or install tires.
• Maintain a safe working environment, place unused tools and equipment in designated areas.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical background helpful.
• Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
• Valid FL Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
• Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes.
