Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, inspection, and repair of fleet pumping equipment
- Diagnose issues and identify required repairs or parts
- Accurately document service and repair activities on work orders
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation
- Conduct preventative maintenance on shop tools and equipment
- Assist with equipment preparation and staging for customer use
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours repairs and support
- Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding status and needs
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient working conditions
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; experience with diesel engines or pumps is a plus
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or general mechanics preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift; certification preferred but not required
- Comfortable with documentation and paperwork
- Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, with regular standing, bending, and stooping
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment
- Effective communication skills, including use of radios or mobile devices
Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00/Hr. to $24.00/Hr. Starting pay depends on skills, experience, and work location, and may not typically be at the top of the range.
