Description Of Duties/Essential Functions

Under direction of the Guardianship Managing Administrator (GMA), plans, organizes, administers and coordinates regional guardianship programs for the Office of State Guardian (OSG); develops, recommends and implements Agency policies and procedures; reviews problem areas and complex guardianship cases; supervises staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of college and 4 years of professional experience in a social service area.
• Thorough knowledge of guardianship practices and case management skills.
• The ability to supervise, manage and coordinate activities of staff and to lead by example.
• Statewide travel.
• Availability for on-call coverage on nights, weekends and holidays, on a rotating schedule.
