Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and refrigeration systems
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs independently, including diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and troubleshooting engines and cooling systems
- Execute wheel alignments, axle adjustments, and brake system repairs
- Utilize diagnostic tools, read technical manuals, and maintain shop equipment
- Complete documentation and adhere to safety protocols
- Work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility for on-call and road call duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; trade school in heavy-duty diesel or refrigeration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of diesel and refrigeration repair experience
- Basic hand tools; ASE Certification in Medium/Heavy Truck PMI (within 1 year)
- Valid Class C Drivers License; Class A preferred
- Certifications in MaxxForce engines, refrigeration, brake systems, and electrical diagnostics preferred
