Responsibilities
- Provide documented performance-based supervision, coaching, training, and direction to MEC staff and interns.
- Participate in the evaluation of assigned staff and interns.
- Lead regularly scheduled communication shift meetings and other staff business meetings.
- Maintain site compliance with all OASAS and HRA regulatory standards, perform quality assurance functions, and maintain the site in audit-ready condition.
- Cover MEC staff coverage to ensure safe operations of the program.
- Serve as the on-call weekday manager in collaboration with the residential leadership team.
- Provide crisis intervention as required.
- Ensure staff and interns operate within their scope of expertise and practice.
- Oversee facilities and inventory, ensuring safety, security, maintenance, and repairs through routine inspections.
- Manage daily operations, including client systems, metro-card distribution, fire drills, client movement, and front desk activities.
- Manage inventories of cosmetic, janitorial, and office supplies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests.
- Monitor client group attendance, pass control, and sign-in/out sheets.
- Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Risk Management Manual.
- Review and approve staff timecards and maintain adequate staff coverage.
- Manage and report incidents effectively.
- Afford clients with individual and group counseling in accordance with treatment plan.
- Oversee the behavior modification system to ensure client accountability when clients do not follow rules.
- Apply a trauma-informed lens when assigning interventions for behavior issues.
- Attend supervisory meetings, special agency staff meetings, and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or CASAC with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a residential program or similar setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications in health and safety management are a plus.
