Responsibilities

  • Provide documented performance-based supervision, coaching, training, and direction to MEC staff and interns.
  • Participate in the evaluation of assigned staff and interns.
  • Lead regularly scheduled communication shift meetings and other staff business meetings.
  • Maintain site compliance with all OASAS and HRA regulatory standards, perform quality assurance functions, and maintain the site in audit-ready condition.
  • Cover MEC staff coverage to ensure safe operations of the program.
  • Serve as the on-call weekday manager in collaboration with the residential leadership team.
  • Provide crisis intervention as required.
  • Ensure staff and interns operate within their scope of expertise and practice.
  • Oversee facilities and inventory, ensuring safety, security, maintenance, and repairs through routine inspections.
  • Manage daily operations, including client systems, metro-card distribution, fire drills, client movement, and front desk activities.
  • Manage inventories of cosmetic, janitorial, and office supplies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests.
  • Monitor client group attendance, pass control, and sign-in/out sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Risk Management Manual.
  • Review and approve staff timecards and maintain adequate staff coverage.
  • Manage and report incidents effectively.
  • Afford clients with individual and group counseling in accordance with treatment plan.
  • Oversee the behavior modification system to ensure client accountability when clients do not follow rules.
  • Apply a trauma-informed lens when assigning interventions for behavior issues.
  • Attend supervisory meetings, special agency staff meetings, and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or CASAC with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a residential program or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications in health and safety management are a plus.
