Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to Coordinators of Residential Supports, fostering a positive team culture and a focus on high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with DDS regulations, state and federal statutes, Harc policies, and best practices, including participation in IP meetings and behavioral and medical oversight.
- Oversee and implement auditing systems, including bi-annual DDS inspections and regular internal management audits to ensure quality and compliance.
- Cook up interdisciplinary support with staff, family members, guardians, and outside agencies to promote holistic, person-centered care.
- Manage and monitor residential budgets, including the oversight of overtime, staffing ratios, and over-budget hours, ensuring fiscal accountability.
- Oversee the maintenance of all documentation systems, including Therap, time sheets (ADP), incident reports, training records, meeting minutes, and maintenance requests.
- Lead regular team meetings and provide guidance, support, and performance oversight to residential leadership staff.
- Support the onboarding and monitoring of new hires, ensuring proper training and successful completion of probationary periods.
- Maintain a current understanding of all required training and certifications, ensuring staff compliance at all times.
- Provide 24-hour on-call support and respond to emergencies involving the individuals served.
- Collaborate with teams to explore and secure additional resources and funding, including DDS one-time funds and URR processes.
- Ensure that all program environments are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including residential properties and vehicles.
- Lead efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities for individual growth, development, and community integration.
- Step in to provide direct participant support in situations of critical staffing shortage or emergency.
- Ensure timely submission of required reports, IP documentation, and goal tracking materials.
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. (Other combinations of experience and education may be considered).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a liability free driving record at all times.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Working knowledge of DDS licensing regulations and requirements.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows and ability to format and print documents.
