About the role

Duties vary within production. The role involves opening meat, de‑boxing, carrying boxes, moving product through the production area, manual transfer of meat, moving equipment, making boxes, possible operation of basic processing equipment, and may include basic sanitation duties.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting activities
• Regular standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to touch, feel, and manipulate fingers and limbs to operate processing and material handling equipment
• Ability to smell in order to detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage
• Ability to work in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas that are cold and wet
• Exposure to moving machinery and sharp surfaces is a regular occurrence
