About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is at the meat and seafood counter, where you'll interact with guests, handle special orders, and maintain a clean, well-stocked department.
Responsibilities
- Answer questions and recommend cuts of meat and seafood to guests.
- Restock and rotate meat and seafood items on display.
- Ensure product quality and freshness through inspections, labeling, and replenishment.
- Support the team by performing other duties as needed.
- Work at a fast pace, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Requirements
- A guest-first mindset and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with safe food handling, basic inventory practices, and department equipment.
- An attention to detail in labeling, temperature control, and cleanliness.
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to assist.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
