Meat Service Counter Clerk

About the role

Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is at the meat and seafood counter, where you'll interact with guests, handle special orders, and maintain a clean, well-stocked department.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and recommend cuts of meat and seafood to guests.
• Restock and rotate meat and seafood items on display.
• Ensure product quality and freshness through inspections, labeling, and replenishment.
• Support the team by performing other duties as needed.
• Work at a fast pace, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

• A guest-first mindset and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with safe food handling, basic inventory practices, and department equipment.
• An attention to detail in labeling, temperature control, and cleanliness.
• A team-focused attitude and willingness to assist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
