About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate +40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is available part-time or full-time, with flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests at the meat & seafood counter and on the sales floor by answering questions, recommending cuts, and fulfilling special orders.
  • Maintain product quality and freshness by inspecting, rotating, labeling, and replenishing all meat and seafood items on display.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
  • Honor commitments by being punctual and reliable.

Requirements

  • A guest-first mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safe food handling, basic inventory practices, and common department equipment (slicers, trash compactors, etc.).
  • An attention to detail in labeling, temperature control, and cleanliness.
  • A team-focused attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be available evenings and weekends.
  • Physical demands include full range of upper body motion and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.

Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay

Hourly associates are paid based on the state minimum wage plus a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.

Schedule

This position may be part-time or full-time, with schedules varying and including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
