About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is at the meat and seafood counter, where you'll connect with guests, handle orders, and maintain a clean, well-stocked department.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests at the meat and seafood counter and on the sales floor by answering questions, recommending cuts, and fulfilling special orders.
- Maintain product quality and freshness by inspecting, rotating, labeling, and replenishing all meat and seafood items on display.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Honor commitments by being punctual, reliable, and ready to assist when needed.
Requirements
- A guest-first mindset and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with safe food handling, basic inventory practices, and common department equipment.
- An attention to detail in labeling, temperature control, and cleanliness.
- A team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Skills
