Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process in a skilled nursing facility.
- Apply knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices in long-term care.
- Ensure proficiency in PA CMI and Medicare billing.
- Manage Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) requirements.
- Handle Managed Care and concurrent reviews.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MDS Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing and experience with PDPM.
- Experience in Managed Care and concurrent reviews.
- Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen.
