About the role
Registered Nurse responsible for ensuring appropriate reimbursement, participating in patient assessment processes, and developing individualized care plans in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete the MDS and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to meet business objectives.
- Assist in creating care plans, identify patient needs, and document projected outcomes.
- Contribute to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring proper completion and electronic transmission of assessments.
- Monitor patient condition changes and coordinate assessments with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide ongoing training for staff on Activities of Daily Living and stay current with RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations through educational programs.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities.
- Prior experience with MDS and Care Plan completion.
- Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, laws, and regulations governing long-term care.
