Responsibilities
- Manage and complete the Resident Assessment Process through completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and the Care Area Assessments (CAAs).
- Target reimbursement and quality through the RAI process.
- Cook up and integrate information from various departments to ensure substantiated reimbursement.
- Track all Medicare/Managed Medicare/Commercial MDS and conduct weekly utilization reviews.
- Schedule and complete the OBRA assessments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Prior MDS/RAI experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing.
- Management & leadership skills.
- Detail oriented & thorough.
