Responsibilities
- Interpret the facility's policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc.
- Complete the RAI process timely, for each resident in the facility.
- Conduct the Care plan meeting and formalize the written care plan utilizing the information obtained at the meeting. Include the resident and family.
- Review charts to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care provided and that they reflect the residents' response to nursing care as it relates to the care plan.
- Report problem areas to the Director of Nursing Administration.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Nurse License.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
- Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
