MCA Operator (Production Operator)
Job Summary
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking a MCA Operator (Production Operator) to join their team at Marion, IL. GD-OTS supports the mission of the warfighter through the delivery of high-quality ordnance and tactical systems.
Responsibilities
- Package finished products and prepare for shipment.
- Perform assembly line tasks in a manufacturing setting.
- Ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Inspect assembled products to verify they meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Inspect product for any defects and flaws.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of experience.
- Previous background in assembly and pack is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees.
- Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions.
- Must be able to perform basic math.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range (USD): $28.57 - $31.57 / hour
Pay Transparency Statement: The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
