Stryten Energy is hiring Production Operators in Kansas City, Missouri. The factory near the Kansas City Airport is expanding and seeks candidates with strong mechanical skills, a safe and quality-focused attitude, a solid attendance record, and a positive work ethic. Responsibilities include meeting production goals, adhering to standard work practices, performing material handling, conducting quality checks, and participating in lean initiatives.

Requirements

• Operate state-of-the-art casting and punch press machinery
• 12-hour continental shift schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off)
• Additional $1.50 per hour for night shifts
• Quarterly attendance bonus for perfect attendance

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical ability to operate and adjust equipment
• Cross-train on all operations (casting, punch, and material handling)
• Able to perform daily production reports and accurate production counts
• Conduct appropriate 5S tasks as needed
• Participate in training and development programs, focusing on environmental, health, and safety issues
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Able to work at a fast pace
• Good work record, attendance, and excellent communication skills
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Experience in a mechanically-related field
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently
• Passes post-offer background check and drug screen

Pay & Schedule

• $28.09 per hour
• 12-hour continental shift schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off)
• Night shift openings available
• Additional $1.50 per hour for night shifts

Physical Demands

• Able to see, hear, and speak
• Able to sit, stand for at least two hours at a time, sit, bend, crawl, squat, kneel, and climb
• Able to use both arms and hands to use a computer and peripherals
• Able to lift 40 pounds from floor level
• Able to work below ground level in confined spaces and on stationary or mobile elevated platforms
• Able to wear respirator and other PPE as required
• Able to climb stairs

Work Environment

• Able to work inside or outside the plant environment and in all climate conditions
• The employee may occasionally be exposed to lead, fume, noise, dirt, hazards, chemicals, heat, and cold
