MBD Developer - After treatment controls

About the role

The MBD software developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing algorithms related to control systems, fuel systems, air handling systems, performance features, customer features, cruise control, and ADAS domains. The role involves working with MATLAB/Simulink, Autosar, and other relevant tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, Autosar, and other relevant tools.
  • Perform stateflow modeling and Simulink simulations.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and HIL testing.
  • Debug and solve problems related to control systems and automotive applications.
  • Work with open-loop test benches and perform debugging.
  • Generate auto-code and manage build processes.
  • Manage requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Model in Loop.
  • Experience with Autosar Software Application layer model development and CSAR layer modeling.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB scripting, Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Experience with Calterm, Polyspace testing, and Windchill/Clearcase.
  • Knowledge of OBD, aftertreatment controls, and fuel system and air handling systems.
  • Experience with Powertrain and automotive systems.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech/BE/MTech/MS in Electronics and Telecommunication (ENTC).

Skills

  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience with Autosar and related software models.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies including MIL, SIL, and Polyspace.
  • Ability to debug and solve complex automotive control system issues.
  • Understanding of fuel systems, air handling systems, and powertrain components.
