MBA Program Director/Lecturer
About the role
The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University seeks a full-time MBA Program Director and faculty member to provide academic leadership, student advising, and operational oversight for the Master of Business Administration program, including concentrations, certificates, and the BS/BA-to-MBA dual degree pathway. This position will also have a 12-credit teaching load within the school of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and support MBA students from admission through graduation.
- Review applications, transcripts, and degree plans in collaboration with Graduate Admissions.
- Manage MBA course scheduling and coordinate faculty assignments.
- Recruit, support, and evaluate adjunct and full-time faculty.
- Oversee the BS/BA–MBA Dual Degree (4+1) program.
- Collaborate with Athletics, the Registrar’s Office, and Graduate Admissions to support student success.
- Monitor academic progress, graduation requirements, and program compliance.
- Support enrollment growth through recruitment and marketing initiatives.
- Represent the MBA program on university committees and participate in graduate leadership meetings.
- Teach courses (12 credits) as assigned, aligned with professional and/or academic background.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or a related field required.
- Experience in business, higher education, or both.
- Strong communication, organizational, and student-service skills.
Pay
$85,000 – $90,000, depending on rank assigned.
