About The Role
We're looking for Mathematics Specialists — Masters and PhD holders — to work alongside world-leading AI research teams and help build the next generation of intelligent systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for serious mathematicians. You'll apply your deep expertise to craft, solve, and evaluate advanced mathematical content that teaches AI to think more rigorously and reason more accurately.
What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and educational depth
- Design complex problem statements across algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, clarity, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen model reasoning capabilities
- Ensure mathematical precision and conceptual depth across all deliverables
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Experienced coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica — whether for research, teaching, or projects
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI model assessment
- Background in academic research, teaching, or mathematical publishing
- Familiarity with AI tools, prompt evaluation, or reasoning benchmarks
Why Join Us
- Work directly with cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based intellectual work
- Make a tangible impact on how AI understands and communicates mathematics
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
