About The Role
We're looking for Mathematics Experts with graduate-level training to help build and evaluate the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models. Your work will influence how AI systems tackle everything from algebraic structures and calculus to statistics and discrete mathematics. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for people who think rigorously and communicate clearly.
What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and intellectual depth
- Design complex problem statements that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning capabilities
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to evaluate AI-generated mathematical content
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure mathematical rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deeply fluent in one or more areas: algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or applied mathematics
- Experienced with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical problem-solving
- Exceptionally precise — you care deeply about correctness, clarity, and rigor
- A clear and confident written communicator who can explain complex ideas with precision
- Self-directed and reliable when working independently without day-to-day supervision
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
- Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or computational research
- Experience writing or reviewing academic or technical mathematical content
- Familiarity with AI tools or mathematical reasoning benchmarks
