What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance.
- Apply deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design rigorous, complex problem sets.
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, depth, and logical soundness.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to identify weaknesses and improve model performance.
- Ensure mathematical rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables.
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule.
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Deeply fluent in at least one core area: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
- Experienced using Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research, modeling, or problem-solving.
- Exceptionally precise — you notice errors others miss and communicate complex ideas with clarity.
- Self-directed and dependable when working without supervision.
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows.
- Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or computational research.
- Experience designing or grading advanced mathematical assessments.
- Familiarity with AI tools or quantitative research platforms.
