What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and genuine depth.
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design complex, meaningful problem statements.
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and clarity.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to push the boundaries of AI model reasoning.
- Ensure mathematical precision and intellectual integrity across all deliverables.
- Work independently on task-based assignments — entirely on your own schedule.
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Deeply skilled in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics.
- Experienced with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical projects.
- Exceptionally precise in written communication — you explain complex ideas with clarity and confidence.
- Naturally detail-oriented with high standards for mathematical accuracy.
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems.
- Background in academic research, technical writing, or peer review.
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts.
- Experience communicating advanced mathematics to non-specialist audiences.
