About the role
Milton Middle School seeks a dynamic math teacher to join an innovative team serving middle school students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, commitment to student success, and experience collaborating with a diverse team.
Responsibilities
- Teach middle school mathematics, including algebra, calculus, general math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Implement effective instructional strategies and data-informed practices.
- Work collaboratively with a team of math teachers and team teachers.
- Apply Restorative Practices in classroom management.
- Contribute to the district's efforts to dismantle systemic barriers and improve student outcomes.
Requirements
- Current and valid Educator’s License with a middle school math endorsement.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
