About the Role
Join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) as a full-time faculty member. This position provides the opportunity to deliver high-level care in a collaborative, academic environment while serving a diverse patient population, including complex maternal-fetal cases.
Responsibilities
- Deliver maternal fetal medicine services, including high-risk ultrasounds, prenatal consultations, and antepartum care.
- Practice within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and affiliated inpatient facilities.
- Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and MFM fellows.
- Participate in scholarly activities with potential for regional/national presentations and publications.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
- Strong clinical skills, collaborative team orientation, independence, and commitment to academic excellence.
About the Division
The division performs advanced procedures such as fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling, supporting 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows.
