Job Summary and Qualifications
The Materials Management Rep will coordinate daily activities of requisitioning to meet procurement demands of the hospital and offsite facilities. This position works closely with departmental staff to ensure timely acquisition and distribution of stock and non-stock supplies, equipment, and services. Compliance with established corporate contracts is a primary responsibility.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum of three years experience in a medically related supply position in a hospital setting
- Prior experience with computerized inventory control systems preferred
- Proficient data entry skills necessary for utilizing a CRT in an efficient manner
- Proficient typing skills and the ability to use a ten-key calculator by touch
- Advanced communication skills, professional manner, and flexibility necessary for working in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment
- Manual dexterity for long hours of keying data and use of office equipment
