About the role
The Materials Management Rep coordinates daily requisitioning activities to meet the procurement demands of the hospital and offsite facilities. This role works closely with departmental staff to ensure timely acquisition and distribution of stock and non-stock supplies, equipment, and services, while ensuring compliance with established corporate contracts.
Responsibilities
- Act as a resource for coordinating procurement activities.
- Support timely acquisition and distribution of supplies, equipment, and services.
- Ensure compliance with corporate contracts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a medically related supply position in a hospital setting.
- Prior experience with computerized inventory control systems preferred.
- Proficient data entry and typing skills, including ten-key by touch.
- Advanced communication skills and professional demeanor for a fast-paced, high-volume office environment.
- Manual dexterity for extended data entry and office equipment use.
