About the role

Under direct supervision, follows specific procedures and detailed instructions to distribute supplies, tools, and equipment. Adheres to established governmental regulations, organizational guidelines, company policies, and procedures while performing job responsibilities. Assists with researching and completing supply requests in a timely manner. Accurately and timely receives, records, and delivers incoming shipments and ships out orders and returns. Acquires and records information regarding the status of supply transactions. Assists with all duties related to storage areas and the inventory system, including receiving, issuing, labeling, maintaining approved supply levels, and shelving supplies. Supports property control duties and, when applicable, assists with monitoring and ensuring Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) compliance. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute supplies, tools, and equipment following specific procedures and detailed instructions.
  • Research and complete supply requests in a timely manner.
  • Receive, record, and deliver incoming shipments; ship out orders and returns accurately and timely.
  • Acquire and record information regarding the status of supply transactions.
  • Assist with duties related to storage areas and the inventory system, including receiving, issuing, labeling, maintaining supply levels, and shelving supplies.
  • Support property control responsibilities.
  • Monitor and ensure Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) compliance when applicable.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the assigned mission.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 4 years’ experience in material management or a related field.
  • Must be proficient with Windows and MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Must have demonstrated data entry experience.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks.
  • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions, including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must meet physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license without special restrictions.
  • Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
  • Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.
  • Must use “down-time” effectively to benefit test operations, self, and the company.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
  • Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.
  • Must be adaptable, flexible, and able to adjust to new or changing instructions.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions and company policy.
  • Must deliver quality products to customers and be responsive to their needs.
  • Must be safety and security conscious, complying with rules and policies.
  • Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in performing duties.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain it for the duration of employment.
  • Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Demonstrated data entry experience.
  • Ability to learn and use specialized software applications.

Pay

$30.33 per hour
