Responsibilities
- Perform physical and administrative tasks in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Check goods against purchase orders/invoices, maintain records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
- Packaging & Distribution: Package and prepare products for shipment, post weights and charges, and maintain shipping records.
- Forklift Operation: Lift heavy items and operate forklift as required.
- Warehouse Operations: Review customer orders, stock, and distribute merchandise in warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
- Non-inventory Management: Manage non-inventory items (moving, labeling, updating holding lists).
- Scrap Handling: Coordinate scrap items with suppliers.
- Special Projects: Manage storage requests and coordinate crating for special shipments.
- Warehouse Space Allocation: Oversee warehouse storage management and space allocation.
Qualifications
- Assembly/Manufacturing Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and detail orientation.
- ERP Systems: Ability to navigate ERP systems such as SAP.
- Forklift Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
- Teamwork: Strong team player, reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Learning Mindset: Willingness to learn, accountable, and self-motivated.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to use hand tools and apply general math skills (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Communication Skills: Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
- Physical Demands and Work Conditions: Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday Friday, with occasional on-call weekend work. Work Environment: Duties often performed in confined clean room areas, sometimes in awkward positions or elevated places. Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds, bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. Safety Procedures: PPE required (safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap, clean room garments). Vision Requirements: Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Travel: Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities, and customer locations. Workload: May involve walking over 10,000 steps and climbing multiple staircases during a 12-hour shift.
