Responsibilities

  • Sorts, records, and delivers stock and non-stock orders and medical equipment to requesting departments on a timely basis.
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory issues, orders received, and deliveries.
  • Looks up POs and related information as required in Lawson.
  • Accurately counts and verifies against packing slip the receipt of all packages; stock, non-stock, PO, and non-PO.
  • Receives all item counts per packing slip and enters into Lawson system.
  • Delivers to the OR on a timely basis.
  • Delivers refrigerated items on a timely basis. If a refrigerated item is unable to be delivered, the package will be taken to the lab or pharmacy to be stored in a monitored refrigerator until the following day at which time delivery will be attempted again.
  • Accurately scans all packages received through loading dock utilizing Syft software.
  • Merges Lawson data with Syft software and prints delivery labels.
  • Obtains required badge scan or signature through Syft hand-held device upon delivery.
  • Maintains par levels at par location for assigned units in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Performs all Syft functions required for stocking and ordering for all par locations.
  • Prints labels and determines correct color code tag for new and existing items at par locations.
  • Researches transaction history and works with departments to recommend changes to par levels.
  • Rotates stock, routinely checks for outdates, and properly stores all inventory items in the warehouse and at par locations.
  • Fills supply rack and par locations, e-reqs, walk-ins, and call orders on a timely basis.
  • Assures no cardboard remains at par locations.
  • Performs cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Monitors and maintains supply levels in warehouse and assists with inventory reordering.
  • Maintains warehouse in neat and orderly fashion; restocks shelves, sweeps, and disposes of cardboard.
  • Clears warehouse hallways of all orders, totes, pallets, and cardboard.
  • Folds and stacks U-boats for next day pickup.
  • Assists co-workers as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous related experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills required to verify orders and perform inventory.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Pay

Compensation Range: $16.00 - $25.60 per hour
