Materials Coordinator *NOT REMOTE*
This is an on-site position at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273-bed acute care facility in Aiken, South Carolina. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services including behavioral health, emergency care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, rehabilitation, imaging, and wound care.
About the role
Collects and analyzes procurement data for the effective development and presentation of financial and statistical analysis supporting system supply chain contracting and cost reduction goals. Trends data to identify and capture cost savings through contract compliance, vendor consolidation, and product savings opportunities. Provides analytics to support physician conversations aimed at reducing case costs and improving procedural margins. Identifies, gathers, and provides data to achieve system-wide supply cost strategic initiatives through contract compliance, standardization, utilization, cost per case, and margin improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes data and builds complex reports, data repositories, and other presentation materials.
- Participates in creating and/or reviewing functional documentation, technical documentation, system configuration, process flows, and data mapping.
- Compiles, maintains, and distributes system financial and statistical reports.
- Creates and develops system supply scorecards to promote best-practice contracting, utilization, and standardization.
- Tracks and reports irregularities to appropriate leadership.
- Performs analysis of customer needs.
- Develops and presents effective financial and statistical analysis supporting system supply chain services contracting and cost reduction goals for C-Suite and various levels of leadership.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5-8 years of supply chain analysis experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree requirement.
- 3-5 years of supply chain analysis experience required.
- APICS Certification or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Projects a positive attitude, demonstrated teamwork competencies, and a strong work ethic.
- Analytical skills necessary to develop and execute a variety of operational analyses.
- Ability to work with multiple levels of acumen around purchasing processes and procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Ability to utilize supply chain applications and analytics tools.
