About the Role
At Integer, our values are embedded in everything we do. The primary purpose of this position is to maintain inventory levels within a respective area. The role coordinates the delivery, restocking, and inventory verification of internal material requirements to ensure timely receipt of materials and efficient delivery of finished products to customers. This position also performs clerical and physical tasks related to the shipment and receipt of goods and may include assembly and inspection operations.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including QMS, Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate and proper inventory levels for materials, tooling, and general supplies.
- Organize and maintain stock of direct materials and other components.
- Maintain the chemical storage facility.
- Prepare shipments and complete paperwork for outbound freight.
- Route incoming materials to the proper departments.
- Review, document, and verify incoming and outgoing shipment orders for accuracy.
- Compile and maintain computerized records such as material inventory.
- Assist Operations planning by monitoring and verifying inventory levels, lost sequences, and heat numbers.
- Package finished goods and generate shipping orders for customer delivery.
- Participate in purchasing activities to ensure materials are received on time to meet schedules; may include ordering products directly or indirectly from vendors.
- Coordinate the gathering of inventory components and documentation necessary to release jobs to production, including tooling, fixturing, gaging, and related documentation.
- Ensure the prompt return of excess materials, components, and tooling.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory classes and year-end tasks associated with financial audits; review work areas according to department audit sheets.
- Perform minor assembly functions, such as assembling component parts, setting up machines, and inspecting parts or completed assemblies.
- Complete documentation for assembly and inspection tasks.
- Ensure timely and regular attendance.
- Perform other functions as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing environment; regulated industry experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals inside and outside the department.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with production procedures and thorough knowledge of departmental work methods and setups.
- Knowledge of the JDE system is desired.
