Materials Coordinator
About the role
The Materials Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring materials and components are properly issued into production jobs and maintaining accurate records of finished goods and work in progress. This position also involves identifying and resolving errors, inspecting inbound materials and components, conducting monthly cycle counts, and assisting in resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Issues and scans material and components to production jobs
- Performs monthly WIP and Finished good cycle counts and assists with resolving variances
- Participates in all plant-wide physical inventories
- Performs quality inspections and validates order fulfillment on inbound material and components
Qualifications
- Experience in forklift operations
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Proficient in computer software applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Communicate and collaborate professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Organize and prioritize projects and information with accuracy
- Set goals independently and take initiative to accomplish them
Preferred Qualifications
- Materials or warehouse experience
- Two or more years work experience as a material handler in an industrial setting
- Proficient with AAR and FRA industry and customer requirements

- Physical activities: Sit, Stand, Walk, Bend, Kneel/Squat, Crawl, Climb, Reach Forward, Reach Upward, Handling/Fingering, Lift/Carry (5-10 lbs frequently, 10-25 lbs occasionally, 25-50 lbs occasionally, 50-75 lbs not applicable, 75+ lbs not applicable), Push/Pull (up to 10 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs occasionally, 25-50 lbs occasionally, 50-75 lbs not applicable, 75+ lbs not applicable)
