MATERIALS CLERK

• Ensure that any part requests/orders are delivered to the production floor as requested in a timely manner.
• Ability to transfer product in SAP from the Warehouse to the appropriate production floor storage locations with the scanner.
• Ability to troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions.
• Maintain the accuracy of the warehouse rack inventory system by performing rack checks as assigned.
• Order truck delivery from outside warehouse to the plant based on production requests.
• Work to file pack slips correctly and ensure all necessary transfers are made from the outside warehouse to the plant in SAP.
• Aid in maintaining a clean and orderly Warehouse and all surrounding areas.
• Aid in any assigned 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives.
• Assist with any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Warehouse preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Ability to obtain all JOST International Fork Truck Certification.
• To gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.
• Computer experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a warehouse area 100% of the time.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist.
• Sometimes stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
