Materials Clerk TN-2nd Shift

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties, with authority delegated commensurate with those responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that any part request orders are delivered to the production floor as requested in a timely manner.
• Transfer product in SAP from the warehouse to the appropriate production floor storage locations using a scanner.
• Troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions.
• Maintain the accuracy of the warehouse rack inventory system by performing assigned rack checks.
• Order truck deliveries from outside the warehouse to the plant based on production requests.
• File pack slips correctly and ensure all necessary transfers are made from the outside warehouse to the plant in SAP.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Support any assigned 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives.
• Perform any additional duties that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment (preferred).
• Working knowledge of SAP (a plus).
• Forklift experience (preferred).
• Ability to obtain all JOST International Fork Truck Certifications.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, and occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
