Responsibilities
- Receive and process material to Point of Use location by required date
- Achieve inventory goals and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow and assist with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
- Maintain accuracy of Live Bus records and engage in lean manufacturing initiatives
- Monitor and reduce obsolete inventory to zero, drive past due demand to zero, and maintain negative inventory to zero
- Maintain STAGING REC 99 (material with no default locator) within 24 hours
- Contribute to the reduction of inventory adjustments and drive departmental goals
- Assist in achieving budget targets in materials, supplies, salary/indirect labor, overtime, and operational expenses
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, work instructions, and 5P's to promote continuous improvement
- Resolve material issues and define root causes of variances
- Support the Retro line with material issues and complete BOL paperwork
- Create and maintain work order packages, line prints, and verification production books
- Upload ECO exploders daily and publish past due measurements
- Work all error lists associated with receiving and transfer demands beyond the original facility
Requirements
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments to achieve departmental goals
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
- Experience with lean manufacturing and 5's programs
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and reduce inventory adjustments
- Ability to reconcile material issues and identify root causes of variances
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for inventory management and receiving functions
