About the role
JRL Modular is recruiting for a Materials / Office Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be the bridge between the office, the stores team, and the factory floor. You will provide crucial administrative support to ensure materials are accurately tracked, scheduled, and ready for production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Scheduling: Assist in creating accurate material call-off schedules and picking lists to support the factory assembly teams.
- Production Liaison: Work daily with the warehouse/stores team to ensure parts are available and track any material shortages or delays.
- Document Control: Maintain and update production documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and operational schedules.
- Office Admin: Handle general office tasks, including data entry, internal reporting, and ordering office supplies.
What We Need From You
- Skills:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail (critical when working with manufacturing data and parts lists).
- IT Literacy: Strong proficiency in MS Excel. Any experience with ERP/MRP computer systems is a massive plus.
- Communication: Great interpersonal skills to liaise confidently between office staff and factory teams.
- Mindset: Proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
