Material Coordinator- 3 Month Term

Responsibilities

• Cook up all materials functions within a designated cell/area on the production floor.
• Collaborate with the cell team including materials, manufacturing engineering, production, and QA.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory within a designated area and accuracy of reject requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
• Maintain parts and inventory for Engineering Change Orders (ECN) and Engineering Approved Deviation (EAD) to released jobs.
• Drive the reduction of inventory adjustments.
• Monitor and measure all material measurements.
• Coordinate material from staging area (bowling alley) to point of use (POU) locations by requirement date.
• Ensure material coordination in key areas such as communication with other plants, reducing obsolete to zero, monitoring past due demands to zero, reducing negatives to zero, reviewing, using, and distributing daily dispatch lists, monitoring line entry schedule and part status, ensuring inventory in STAGING REC 99 (material with no default locator) is monitored within 24 hours, ensuring the MRP and MRB process is followed by your team, working with the cell team to monitor and maintain the accuracy of Live bus records, performing cell audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Solve problems related to uncontrollable items, cross training, maintaining sub-inventories, and maintaining inter-organizational communication while following proper email etiquette.
• Maintain compliance with ISO procedures, work instructions, 5P's, and promote continuous improvement within the department.
• Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures, and processes.

• Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
