Material Technician III - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs material handling to support manufacturing/packaging operations, shipping and receiving.
• Operates UPS equipment, ships labels, and follows international and domestic shipping procedures.
• Trains in and performs multiple work assignments, including weighing, counting, packing, placing parts into storage, removing parts from storage, marking information according to customer requirements.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Locates stock, retrieves, identifies stock availability using computers.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through computer transactions.
• Reports production, performs cycle counts, and complies with QS 9000 procedures.
• Calibrates scales to ensure accurate counts and identifies equipment maintenance needs.
• Reviews load sheets for stock availability and sets up and tracks shipments to customers as required.
• Maintains accurate files to trace shipments and receipts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have computer, reading/writing English skills, and math skills.
• Must pass or hold STRATTEC operator driver's license for power driven vehicles.

Qualifications

• PAY RATE IS $24.36/HOUR PLUS .75 SHIFT PREMIUM- HOURS 3PM TO 1AM TUE.-FRI.
