Materials Technician - 2nd Shift
About the role
Schneider Electric is seeking an Materials Technician for 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team in Mt Juliet, TN. This role involves the sorting, picking, storing, and counting of parts in preparation for assembly.
Responsibilities
- Sorting, picking, storing, and counting of parts in preparation for assembly.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.
- Use inventory scanning system to scan into/out of locations.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Utilize tools such as: manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck (including stand-up), jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices, and prescribed safety equipment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as a background check to the satisfaction of the Company.
- Candidates must be able to communicate effectively.
- Basic Requirements: PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor.
- Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift.
- Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.
- Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.

Pay Range
The expected pay range is $23 - $23 per hour. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
