Material Teams Support Intern

About the role

This position offers a dynamic environment where you can apply your skills in inventory management and supply chain operations. You will work closely with materials, planning, and operations teams to support various aspects of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Aid in inventory tracking and ensure accuracy within the ERP system (Epicor)
• Support material transactions, including issuance, movement, and inventory control
• Validate and maintain operations codes, source groups, and planning data
• Track, update, and report data using Microsoft Excel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and align documentation
• Provide production support and assist planners with job tracking and status updates
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to materials flow and warehouse operations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Junior or Senior standing preferred
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or other status as a U.S. Person)

• Basic understanding of inventory practices and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
