Material Planner/Controller Sr - E3
About the Role
Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules, and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and negotiate lead times with suppliers to manage schedules for timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze material requirements to align with the Master Plan Schedule and ensure on-time delivery to support production goals.
- Provide precise and timely information on all parts supporting the plan to the Operations team, ensuring clarity and alignment across departments.
- Identify and expedite any parts that may cause production delays, working proactively to mitigate risks and maintain schedule adherence.
- Attend meetings with the purchasing department to obtain commit dates for material deliveries and report findings to all relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed shipping documents for all outbound deliveries of parts in process and completed assemblies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Address material shortages, delays, or discrepancies by collaborating with suppliers, purchasing, and operations teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of material status, delivery schedules, and production impacts, providing regular updates to management and other interested parties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably within an MRO or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $81,500.00 - $151,300.00
