Material Handler - Warehouse

About the role

A Warehouse Associate responsible for fulfilling customer orders, receiving and inspecting shipments, maintaining inventory records using Excel and ERP/MRP systems, and coordinating local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and preparing shipments accurately
• Managing incoming and outgoing materials and shipments
• Tracking inventory levels and documenting processes
• Communicating with customers and internal teams about order status and delivery issues
• Operating material handling equipment safely
• Supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations within a small team environment

Requirements

• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
• Experience managing inventory in a warehouse setting
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with international shipping documentation
• Comfort with learning new technology and systems
• Dependability, organizational skills, and adaptability to fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, lift up to 75 pounds, and work standing for extended periods
• Ability to bend, twist, and work at heights
